We've gone old-school and created an authentic pine tar soap!  Yup, it really has 100% pine tar in it at a rate of 10%.  There are lots of claims concerning pine tar and I don't know if any of them are true, but this is a great and earthy-smelling soap.  We have added just a bit of Cedarwood Atlas and Lavandin essential oils to enhance the scent.  
 
The base of this soap is also fairly simple - just lard, coconut oil and castor oil.  Lard produces a creamy and stable lather while making the bar hard and long-lasting.  In addition, it has mild moisturizing qualities that will prevent the soap from drying the skin because it is highly compatible with the structure of the human cells.
