This set is made with beautiful Ammonite fossils.  The earrings, including the ear wires, are approximately 42mm / 1.6 inches long.  The pendant, including patinated copper setting, is approximately 43mm / 1.7 inches long.
 
One of the most widely known fossils, ammonites are eoliths of now-extinct marine molluscs called ammonoids.  It's no surprise that ammonites, with their spiral shape, are symbols of change and positive motion.  The spiral draws in negative energy, filtering it through the chambers and releasing fresh, positive energy.  Due to this connection with energy, ammonites have been used for activating Kundalini--the concept in Dharma that refers to primal energy (called shakti)--which coils at the base of the spine and is a source of life force or energy.  Ammonites are associated with ancient knowledge, which makes sense considering how long these fossils have been around.
 
The set will arrive in either a gift box or a small gift bag, depending on size, and it comes with a necklace.  Generally, we have 18" waxed cord necklaces (black and multiple earthy colors), 18" silver-tone, 18" bronze-tone and 20" silver-tone.  If you have a preference for packaging or necklace, please indicate this in the comments section of your order.  Otherwise, we will choose the option we feel best suits the set.
